March.19,2002:Stevie has been involved with a great many benefit concerts including Breast Cancer and Artists Rights. As far as i know she is still working on the new Fleetwood Mac album.
March 1,2002: ROBBED!! She was robbed of her Grammy by a bonnie raitt Wannabe-Hack!! I could handle it if she lost to the real Bonnie...but that Lucinda chick isn't even in the right category(too christian/country). Sigh..
Feb.9,2002: Stevie has a Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female" for "Planets of the Universe".GO STEVIE!!! (...She HAS to win...)
Sept.19,2001: Stevie & Sheryl Crow have Cancelled the Today Show concert. Sheryl crow will be involved in the
benefit concert Friday night. No word on Stevie...
Sept.12,2001: In light of this tragedy in NY & DC, Stevie cancelled the Radio City Music Hall show,as well as the Rochester,NY gig. The Atlantic city Taj Mahal venue is on still, so far.

Raleigh date to be confirmed. Tickets already bought to be honored.

May 16,2001: Everything is so great with Stevie's "Trouble in Shangri-la". On Much More Music in Canada,(an extension of the muchmusic channel) the viewers get to choose 5 Videos a day to air on the show "mmmTop5". Stevie is Number ONE!!

paws on "Trouble in Shangri-La" ! The first Video expected
will be for "Every Day".I haven't heard if one will be
made for "Planets..". It has just begun it rotation
on Adult Contemporary stations. Lets all root for major

March 22,2001: The other night, this years' nominees
to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were inducted. Stevie nicks
was out and about there. I guess she is out circulating,getting her face seen to pre-promote "Shangri-la". There are only
40 days left until her new album....
March 16,2001: This bit of news is from the Nicks Fix...WBOS, a radio station in Boston, has premiered
Stevie's soon to be released single,
"Planets of the Universe". It met with great
positive feedback (rock on...)
March 8,2001: The date set for the release of
Stevie's "Trouble in Shangri-La" is now May 1st.
This comes from a new Rolling Stone interview with Stevie.

March 3,2001: Well, in case you haven't heard...
Stevie Nicks has a NEW album due out and its called
"Trouble in Shangri-La".
Its gonna be a rocker, folks! Some real power-house names are involved in this one.
Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLaughlin & Macy Gray for example!
There is definately a youthful edge.
She will release two of my absolute favorite demos.
"Planets of the Universe" originally a piano demo,but now it ROCKS!(so cool) and
"Sorcerer", which was covered by Marilyn Martin for the "Streets of Fire" soundtrack.Preliminary date was April 10,but it might be pushed to May. |
